With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Leo McElhaney of Clarksville, Iowa, who passed away on March 26, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, John McElhaney and Laura McElhaney; his wife Betty McElhaney; his daughter Brenda Marie Verno; and his siblings, Roslyn Pope, Gladys Wharton, Lucille Boorm and Howard McElhaney.
He is survived by : his children, Linda Griffin (Duane) of Waseca, Jeanette Henry (Dale) of Vinton, Roberta McElhaney of Clarksville, Bruce (Debra) of Grand Prairie, Laura Padròn (Victor) of Pueblo and Paul McElhaney of Graham, Washington. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and many great grandchildren and other family members.
