It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert George Litterer of Clarksville, Iowa, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Theophil Litterer and Elsie Litterer (Witt); his siblings, Ralph, Arnold, Lawrence, Wilber, Richard, Roger Litterer, Ruth Fisher and Hulda Fisher; his son-in-law Roger Petersen; his grandson Levi Hall; and his great grandchild Reilly Petersen.

He is survived by : his wife Sherry Winkey of Clarksville; his children, Tammy Hall (Robert) of Shell Rock, Tricia Petersen of Clarksville and Tim Litterer (Michelle) of Clarksville; his grandchildren, Tom Woodman (Heather), April Hoodjer (Ted), Brittney Ballhagen (Jerod), Ethan Litterer (Annabelle Dibert), Nicole Rosol (Corey) and Kurt Petersen (Barbra); his siblings, Margret Horengic (Carl) of Upper Marlboro, MD, Shirley Rottink (David) of Clarksville and Paul Litterer (Mary) of Waverly; and his sisters-in-law, Ardys Litterer of Greene, Marjorie Litterer of Waverly, Ida Litterer of Waverly and Peggy Litterer of Clarksville. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, one great-great grandson.
