He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul William and Maxine Mae Jacobs (Smith); and his sister Karen Bachman. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Jacobs; his children, Sheila Yost (Tracy) of Shell Rock and Ben Jacobs (Stacy) of Clarksville; his grandchildren, Jacob Yost, Jared Yost, Samuel Jacobs, Morgan Jacobs and Sidney Jacobs; and his siblings-in-law, Judith Fink (Dean) of Cedar Falls, Karen Karnik (John) of Waucoma, Junior Bauchman of Lamont and Clifton Johnson (Vonnie) of Granger.

Memorials may be directed to the family to be designated at a later time.
