She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Holtz and Esta Holtz (Sigler); her husbands, John Popes and Don Scholle; and her sons, Dale Lee Popes and Lance Donovan Scholle.
She is survived by: her daughter Inda (Gina Kaefring); her stepson Alan Scholle (Joyce); and her grandson Tim Scholle (Megan). She is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren.
Though she suffered through the isolation of COVID, she was able to stay in her own apartment until January 2023.
