He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Prestholt and Wilmie Ellen Prestholt (Long); his brother Paul Prestholt; and his parents-in-law, Dewey and Freda Monk.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Sue of Kentucky; his children, Jenifer Harrison (Chad), Kenneth "Ole" Prestholt (Suzanne), David Prestholt (Linda) and Vince Prestholt; and his grandchildren, Brenden Harrison, Haley Walswick (Drew), Maranda Butler (Bryce), Amy Prestholt, Aaron Prestholt (Michaela), Alex Prestholt, Shanna Etherton (Jeff), Brock Prestholt, Derek Prestholt (Brenna), Luke Prestholt (Kayla), Zephrey Prestholt and Tanner Prestholt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed in care of the family that will be donated in his memory.
