She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Nauss and Vera Nauss (Ritterholz). She is survived by: her husband Walter Leslie; her children, Jim Leslie (Karen) of Maple Grove, MN, Valerie Stratton (John) of Ankeny, IA, Deb Baldus (Paul) of Fairmont, MN and Susan Leslie of Ankeny, IA; her grandchildren, Michael Leslie, Kelly Lundberg (James), Leslie Gookin (John), Lauren Stratton (Hannah), Dustin Baldus and Josh Baldus (Mollie); her great grandchildren, Andrew, Reagan, Milo, Austin, Isabelle, McKenna and Ryland; and her brother Jerry Nauss.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in care of the family and will be later used to honor Junita's memory.
