He was predeceased by: his father Charles Glidden; his grandparents, Nettie, Robert Kimball, Thomas and Helen "Gert" Glidden; and his uncles, Dick Glidden (Clarice) and Bob Glidden.
He is survived by: his mother Nancy Glidden (Kimball); his siblings, Nathan Glidden, Kris Frideres (Scott), Travis Glidden (Theresa), Matthew Glidden (Ally) and Mark Glidden (Lisa); and his aunts and uncles, Beverly Kozisek (Wayne), Bonnie Bullington (Darrell) and Bonnie Glidden. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel (310 1st Ave N, Clear Lake, IA 50428). Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ward Van Slyke Colonial Chapel (310 1st Ave N, Clear Lake, IA 50428).
