She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Smith and Henrietta Morrison Smith; and her siblings, Owen Smith, Alister Smith and Dorothy Reynolds (Robert Hoadley Jr.).
She is survived by: her husband Robert Hoadley Jr.; her children, Sherry Maly, Bonnie Berg, Ross Hoadley and Cara Hoadley; and her grandchildren, Cortney Maly, Ashley Maly, Hallie Berg, Jacob Berg, Kaylara Hoadley, Kenzie Hoadley, Montana Elliott (Vess Cooks) and Caden Elliott.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Ward Van Slyke Colonial Chapel (310 1st Ave N, Clear Lake, IA 50428). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel (310 1st Ave N, Clear Lake, IA 50428).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Clear Lake Food Bank in Patricia's name.
