Robert Rickie Speakar Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Rickie Speakar (Clear Lake, Iowa), who passed away on March 22, 2026 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Speakar and Alice Speakar (Whitney); his sisters, Sonia Molencamp and Joan Bales (Kenneth); and his nephews, Brad and Eric Bales.

He is survived by: his wife Aletha "Lee" Speakar; his son Michael Eggers (Shelly); his grandsons, Nicholas Eggers (Emmarie), Luke Eggers (Katelyn) and Alec Eggers; his great grandchild Ayla Eggers; his sister Kathy Thomsen (Eric); his brother-in-law Larry Molencamp; and his nieces and nephews, Ryan Bales (Patti), Mindy Catchpool (Mike), Craig Molencamp (Brenda), Wade Molencamp (Linda), Rebecca Millican (Zach) and Christina Thomsen. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be directed in care of the family that will be shared to honor Bob.
