Sharlene J. Jaspersen Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharlene J. Jaspersen of Clear Lake, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 8, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Reese Martin and Mildred Martin (Hildman); her husbands, Don Hauptmann and Earl Jaspersen of Joseph's Catholic Church; her sons, Damon and Garret Hauptmann; her grandson Joseph Kenney; her great grandchild Mila Hanson; her brother Irwin Martin; and her brother-in-law Jim Bleich.

She is survived by: her children, Meredith Hauptmann (Marge) of Onley, MD, Margaret Kenney of Garner, Sidney Hauptmann (Mary) of Algona, Marie Bedford (Don) of Clear Lake and Eldon Hauptmann (Jennifer) of Garner; her daughter-in-law Laureen Hauptmann of Cedar Rapids; her siblings, Carol Bleich, Louis Martin (Trudy) and Frank Martin (Lora); and her sister-in-law Judy Martin. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
