She was predeceased by: her parents, LeRoy Miller and Florence Miller; and her siblings, Susan Stallman (Terry) and Donald Miller. She is survived by: her husband Allan Petersen; her children, Lisa Engstrom (Jim), Jeff Petersen (Mary) and Tracey Stevens (Craig); her grandchildren, Alex (Lindsay), Jessica (Adam), Megan (Jimmy), Joshua and Nicholas (Asa); and her great grandchildren, Jude, Dahlia, Grace, Nora, Benjamin, Henry and Emmy.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Ward Van Slyke (310 1st Ave N, Clear Lake, IA 50428). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the family for a memorial to be decided at a later date.
