We are sad to announce that on October 21, 2025, at the age of 33, Tyler Brian Kober (Clear Lake, Iowa), born in Mason City, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandfather Don Kober; and his cousin Jordan Nehls. He is survived by: his parents, Chad Kober and Cher (Scott Anderson); his siblings, Parker Kober (Whitney), Brooke Anderson, Cole Anderson and Renner Kober; his nephew Crosby Kober; his grandparents, Janean Kober, Daniel, Bette Knecht, Jon, Patricia Rhiger, Russ and Vicki Anderson; his aunts and uncles, Wendy Kokal (Peter), Tia McInroy (Ryan), Brandi Nehls, Michael Rhiger (Alyssa), David Beck (Heather), Jon Beck (Rhonda), Jeri Fekkers (Todd), Carrie Berger (Eddie) and Dawn Guth (Lance); and his cousins, Ali Kerber (Chris), Ryan Begemann, Harper, Holden, Nathanial McInroy, Maranda Nehls, Devon, Brynn Ingram, Khloe Hjelle, Trenton, Travis Fekkers, Kate Fjone (Michael), Myles, Aliyah Berger, Peyton, Dylan, Taylor Guth, Jager, Jaxon Beck and Thane Rhiger. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ward Van Slyke Colonial Chapel (310 1st Ave N, Clear Lake, IA 50428). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be sent in their care for a memorial scholarship to be created in Tyler's name.
