She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Hanson and Lenore Hanson; her parents-in-law, Emil and Christine Eggerth; her husband Walter Eggerth; her daughter Nancy Eggerth; her son-in-law Tim Jones; her grandson Christopher Ashland; her brother-in-law Merle Eggerth; her siblings, Helen Baumann (Kenny), Henry Hanson (Ruby), Duane Hanson, Robert Hanson and Ellsworth Hanson (Kathy); and her brother-in-law Raymond Young.
She is survived by: her children, David Eggerth (Pat), Gary Eggerth (Donna), Larry Eggerth (CJ), Diane Jones and Ventura; her sister LoEtta Young; and her sister-in-law Ilene Hanson. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren, three great-great- grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ward Van Slyke Colonial Chapel (310 1st Ave N, Clear Lake, IA 50428).
