It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dean E. Petersen of Cleghorn, Iowa, who passed away on October 10, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean and William Petersen; and his brothers, Ken (Maxine) and Cecil (Bonnie Irwin). He is survived by: his sister Alberta Roulstone (Jim); his children, Laurel Manoles (Mike) of Golden Valley, Minnesota, Bryan Petersen (Laura) of Cleghorn, Iowa and Brad Petersen (Mona) of Cohasset, Minnesota; and his grandchildren, Erin Estafanos (Mina), Nicholas Manoles (Amy), Baley Mimms (Elliott), Tucker Petersen (Danielle), Elisa Lundquist (Neil Schulze), Jace Lundquist, Kelsey Perreault (Brent), Kasey DuBé (Sean), Karley Guterres (Taiga), Claire Petersen (Mark Schwandt), Harper, Avery Schulze, Soren, Louis Perreault, Cora, Turner Mimms, Violet, Luke Manoles, Emma DuBé and Charlotte Petersen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
