Dean E. Petersen Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dean E. Petersen of Cleghorn, Iowa, who passed away on October 10, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Dean may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dean touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Boothby Funeral Home (207 E Main St, Cherokee, IA 51012). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grace United Methodist Church (303 E Fenton St, Marcus, IA 51035).
