He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Donald and Beulah Mitchell (Judd) of Cleghorn; his wife Donni; his sister Jeanne O'Kane; and his stepgrandson Jordan Mundie.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Lauri Mundie (Brian), Klete Geren (Ginger) and Lincoln Geren. He is also survived by 9 step grandchildren, and 7 step great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (2501 6th Ave N, Fort Dodge, IA 50501). A Mass will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
