Abigail left this world on October 31, 2025 at the age of 42, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Ronald Ketelsen, Ray and Lucille Hartmann; and her pet Cujo. She is survived by: her parents, Carmen Ketelsen of Charlotte and Curtis Hartmann (Diane); her daughter Avery Jo Hartmann Locey; her stepfather Dennis Gisel of DeWitt; her siblings, Christopher Hartmann (Hadley) of New York City, Maggie Taylor (Joe) of New York City, Andrew Gisel (Lynse) of Davenport, Becca Gisel of DeWitt, Jessica Hartmann and Maik Kecinski of Wilmington, Delaware; her nephews, William, James, Alexander Hartmann, Jace, Tate Gisel, Jonathan and Julian Taylor; her niece Cecelia Taylor; her grandmother Betty Jo Ketelsen of DeWitt; and her close friend Leroy Young. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family requests no flowers or plants, memorials may be made to Christopher Hartmann on behalf of Avery Jo, at their GoFundMe (https://www.gofundme.com: ec785c96-c65f-46eb-8979-e84271089018&utm_campaign=natman_sharesheet_dash&utm_medium=customer&utm_source=copy_link).
