With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Aletta E. Olson of Clinton, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Aletta left this world on July 24, 2025 at the age of 98, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur McClelland and Leona McClelland (Webster); her husband Maynard Olson; her daughter Gloria; and her sons-in-law, Don Eskew and Randy Richter.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Pope, Mitzi Richter of Clinton and Charla Seitz (John) of Arizona; and her grandchildren, Dawn Kozolaos of California, Don Eskew (Julie) of Camanche, Laura Sylvan (Scott), Pauletta Seitz, Michael Pope (Kim) of Arizona, Katie Brown of Clinton and Jessica Pope of Davenport. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials can be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
