He was predeceased by: his mother Sandra Ramsey (Ford); and his brother Vincent. He is survived by: his father James Ramsey of Des Moines; his wife Linda Feldpausch; his children, Jolene Johnson (Matt) of Whidbey Island, Jessica Barsema (Ryan Marshall) of Tipton, Max Ramsey (Erika) of Cedar Rapids, Tonya Ramsey of Davenport and Kevin Susie (Nicole) of Clinton; and his siblings, Randall Ramsey (Kathy) of Cedar Crest, James Ramsey, Jr. of Des Moines and Jennifer Snyder (Dave) of Grimes, Iowa.. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory (302 3rd Ave S, Clinton, IA 52732). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
