It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlene M. Dierksen of Clinton, Iowa, who passed away on November 23, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Taplin and Marie Taplin (Petersen); her husband Donald J. Dierksen; and her daughter-in-law Sheila. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Dierksen (Carol) of Long Grove, IA, Richard Dierksen (Lisa) of Spragueville, IA, Ronald Dierksen (Mary) of Clinton, IA, Terry Dierksen of Bettendorf, IA, Barbara Tholen (Tom) of Clinton, IA, Nancy Karmelich (Brian) of Palos Verdes, CA and Ann Schocker (Will) of Fulton, IL; and her brothers, Gary Taplin (Cheryl) of Bryant, IA and Dennis Taplin (Diane) of Bryant, IA. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
