We announce the death of Barbara J. Traver (Clinton, Iowa), who passed away on October 15, 2026, at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Ekland and Helen Ekland (Hansen); her daughter Vicki Duchow; and her brother Donnie Ekland. She is survived by: her husband Lynn Traver; her children, Tom Traver of Clinton, Christine Kott (Jeff) of Crystal Lake, IL and Amy Blauert (Joe) of Saint Paul, MN; her grandchildren, Lucas Traver, Nathan Traver (Roxi), Amanda Thoms (Justin), Jackie Duchow, Reuben Duchow (Stephanie), Daniel Benton, Tiffany Benton, Michelle Sanders (Brent), Ashley Reichert (Chris), Molly Brainerd (Tanner) and Brennan Kramer; and her sisters, Linda Pennock of Clinton and Paula Mallory of Cedar Falls, IA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
