Betheny J. McDaniel Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 6, 2025, at the age of 78, Betheny J. McDaniel of Clinton, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Elmer John and Marjorie Ullrich (Clark-Ketelsen); her husband Gary McDaniel of Clinton; her sons, Doug McDaniel (Andrea) of Melbourne and Dennis McDaniel (Cari) of Norwalk, Iowa; her stepdaughters, Deanne Davis (Al) of Sheboygan and Debi Schmitz (Karl) of Madrid, Iowa; her grandchildren, Bergen, Sydney and Brecken McDaniel; her stepgrandchildren, Alyssa Davis and Austin Davis (Courteney Duchow); her stepgreat-grandson Jaxson Davis; her sisters-in-law, Joyce Ketelsen of Bettendorf and Carolyn McDanel of Clinton; and her niece Ronda Kohrt. She was also cherished by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Pape Funeral Home (2308 Pershing Blvd, Clinton, IA 52732). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Foursquare Gospel Church (816 13th Ave N, Clinton, IA 52732). Betheny's heart and passion lived with the underprivileged and worked with many organizations to offer help, including: the Holiday Network, Hearts and Hands, Coats for Kids, RSVP, the Visually Impaired, Associate Benevolent Society, and was a Resident Advocate at Mercy Living Center North.
