She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Ibs and Wilhelmine Ibs (Hansen); her husband Delbert Rckertsen; her son Robert; and her siblings, Carl, AnnaMarie Ploog and Elfrieda Montanya.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Rickertsen of Clinton and Brent Rickertsen (Kathy) of Cedar Rapids; her daughter-in-law Cindy Rickertsen of Fulton; her grandchildren, Matt Rickertsen (Lori), Chris Rickertsen, LeeAnn Montoya, Jordan Rickertsen (Britany), Brook Hall (Reed), Katie Kurokawa (Alex), Garth Rickertsen, Cheyenne Rickertsen, Morgan Veith (Nathan), Wyatt Rickertsen, Doug Hanke and Dennis Hanke; her sisters, Bernice Kennedy (Tom) of Clinton and Helga Huizenga of Garden Plain, IL; and her sister-in-law Hildegard Roberts of Charlestown, SC. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Pape Funeral Home (2308 Pershing Blvd, Clinton, IA 52732). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (1364 Washington St, Andover, IA 52701).
