Garry A. Land Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Garry A. Land (Clinton, Iowa), who passed away on June 14, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Arnold Land and Virginia Land (Lain); and his brother Donny. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Yates of Clinton; his daughters, Emily Steenhard (Matt) of Clinton and Erin George (Jason) of Clinton; his grandchildren, Reagan Steenhard, Ellery George and Jack George; his siblings, Mickey Land of St. Louis and Sandra Hicks (Glendon) of Seymour, Texas; and his sister-in-law Jamie Land of Comfort. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorials can be made to the organizations that his grandchildren loved most: Boy Scouts Troop 642, Gateway Contemporary Ballet, or the Carroll County Longspurs Trapshooting Team.
