He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sr. Bird and Shirley Bird (Kunz). He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Raede of Clinton; his son Jason Bird (Jennifer) of Prophetstown; and his grandchildren, Jace, Jonas and Hailey.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the National Cemetery Rock Island.
