She was predeceased by: her parents, George Demmer and Mary Demmer (Dinneen); and her former husband Vincent Steins. She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Buske (William) of Clinton and Sheila McElroy (Rodney) of Bellingham, Washington. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (11 4th Ave SW, Rochester, MN 55902). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
