He is survived by : his children, Jeffrey Gross (Kristine), Melyssa Evanson (Kelly), Christine Studzinski (Michael) and Jesse Oster; his grandchildren, Hunter Evanson (Shelby), Forrest Evanson, Colten Evanson, Easton Gross and Caroline Gross; his brother Kurt Eichmeier (Marla); his nieces, Jennifer Gatherers and Megan Hudson; and his nephew Bryce Eichmeier.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Lyon's Lodge #93, Zion Lutheran, or the National Kidney Foundation in Chris' memory.
