We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2025, at the age of 69, Janet L. Rickerl of Clinton, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Janet is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Janet's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Smith and Norma Smith (Scobey). She is survived by: her daughters, Kerri Dondiego (Enrique) of Clinton, IA, Tiffany Rickerl of Clinton, IA and Jeanne Campos; her brother Jack Smith (Roseanne) of Polo, IL; and her stepsister Doreen Fenzel of Clinton, IA. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A reception was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pape Funeral Home (2308 Pershing Blvd, Clinton, IA 52732).
