Cremation rites will be accorded. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday July 25th from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Pape Funeral Home, Clinton.
Janet was born on June 6, 1956 in Clinton, IA the daughter of Gene and Norma (Scobey) Smith. Janet was a homemaker and enjoyed going to the casino, watching older TV shows, and spending time with family.
Janet is survived by her three daughters, Kerri (Enrique) Dondiego and Tiffany Rickerl both of Clinton, IA, and Jeanne Campos; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; her brother, Jack (Roseanne) Smith of Polo, IL; her step-sister, Doreen Fenzel of Clinton, IA; and her life partner, Kevin Rickerl of Clinton, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and two sisters.
