He is survived by: his wife Karen Rowan; his children, Brian Dierks of Clinton, IA and Jennifer Belanger; his grandchildren, Sydney of Colona, IL, Tyler of Colona, IL and Alex Belanger of Colona, IL; his sister Karen Burns (Bob) of Clinton, IA; and his brother-in-law Mike Rowan (Barb) of Garland, TX. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A reception was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pape Funeral Home (2308 Pershing Blvd, Clinton, IA 52732).
