With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John J. Paysen of Clinton, Iowa, who passed away on April 4, 2024 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Richard Paysen; his brother Richard Jr.; and his stepbrother Joe. He is survived by : his mother Sharon Paysen (Soll) of Clinton, IA; and his siblings, Connie Ladehoff of Clinton, IA, Jason Paysen (Phyllis) of Clinton, IA and David Paysen of Clinton, IA. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with John's family. I worked with John, in Local 678, Carpenter's Union, in different jobs over 19 years. We visited frequently outside of work. He was always so thoughtful, gifting us with his truck creations. He knew we collect antiques and gifted us with a few over the years. I think the gifts were for the many dinners he had with us. His favorite was Peg's potato soup. We had so many laughs over is one liners (jokes). Kenny & Peg. RIP Bigfoot.”
