With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence McClimon of Clinton, Iowa, who passed away on September 7, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Lawrence leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Lawrence may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph McClimon and Virginia McClimon (Dolan); his wife Nora Jean Cook; his daughter Dea Mills; and his siblings, Gerald and Connie.
He is survived by: his children, Laurel Good (Marvin) of Clinton, Mike McClimon (Mary) of Safety Harbor and David McClimon (Chris) of Marion; and his brother Pat McClimon (Kay Guinta) of Johnston. He is also survived by son-in-law: Dave Mills of Clinton; 8 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
