He was predeceased by: his parents, Gottlieb Daniel and Louise Emma Suessmith (Pappenfuss); and his son Robert Suessmith of Winona. He is survived by: his wife Judy (Judy); his sons, Brad Suessmith (Michelle) of Austin and Michael Suessmith (Lisa) of Clinton; his grandchildren, Daniel Suessmith (Alicia) of Trempealeau, Bobbie Suessmith of Winona, Erika Suessmith of Austin, Paige Suessmith of DeWitt, Ryan Suessmith of Austin, Michael Suessmith of Clinton and Julia Suessmith of Clinton; his great grandchildren, Cohen Suessmith of Trempealeau, Grayson Suessmith of Trempealeau and Willa Suessmith of Trempealeau; and his brother-in-law William Mercer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
