Though Lu Ella may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Reynolds and Elverna Reynolds (Hartz); and her spouse Dale Stewart. She is survived by: her children, DeeDee Piper (Craig) of Clinton, IA, Deb Jordan (Bob) of Cross Hill, SC and Dean Stewart (Lauri) of Andrew, IA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory (302 3rd Ave S, Clinton, IA 52732). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church (2020 N 3rd St, Clinton, IA 52732).
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church or the University of Iowa Dance Marathon.
