She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Lafe and Helen Anita Sloppy (Rasmussen); her former husband Howard Joseph Keefer; her sister Sharon Dee Reed (Ken); and her grandson Chad Hayes.

She is survived by: her husband Gus; her children, Anita Hayes (Joseph) of Clinton and David Keefer (Peggy) of Clinton; her grandchildren, Audrey Cram (Brett), Nina Barker (David), Kallyn, Emersyn and Griffen Keefer; her great grandchildren, Oliver Cram, Amelia Cram and Levi Barker (Abi); and her great great grandchildren, Ashton and Lincoln Barker. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Clinton Area Showboat Theater.
