With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia A. Matheson-Murty of Clinton, Iowa, who passed away on July 15, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Kiefer and Alice Kiefer (Groff); her son John Roth; her husband Joseph Murty; and her great grandchildren, Jackson Lyman, Keefer Conklin and Iriyah Tucker.
She is survived by: her children, Bernice Bender of Washington, IA, LeAnn Young of Clinton, Christine Lyman (Keith) of Sharon, VT, Frank LaShelle (Kim VanKampen) of Rock Island, Lorna Pothof (Elmer) of Clinton, James LaShelle (Jean) of Clinton, Kym Just of Clinton and Larry Thein (Debi) of Long Grove; and her sister Linda Casey of Clinton. She is also survived by 228 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
