She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Simpkins and Alta Simpkins (Bingham); her husband Sam; her siblings, Jack Simpkins, Betty Bingham and Louise Crigger; and her close friend Brenda Buikemma.
She is survived by: her children, Missy Feldhacker (Joe) of Waukee, IA, Tim Carver (Teri) of Clinton and Steve Carver (Patti) of Clinton; her siblings, Judy Scribbner, Brenda Moore (Dave), Cissy Lambert, Don and Gene Simpkins; and her sister-in-law Elah Simpkins. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
