We are sad to announce that on November 2, 2023, at the age of 84, Patricia Mae McCarthy of Clinton, Iowa, born in Waterloo, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Richard Hayes and Helen Hayes (Petersen); her husband Thomas; and her siblings, Judy, Rosemary and Steve.

She is survived by : her children, Chris McCarthy (Gail) of Fort Collins, CO, Brian McCarthy (Joni) of Woodward, IA and Ann Kohl (Jamie Hitchcock) of Bryant, IA; her grandchildren, Rachel, Sarah, Brianna, Emily, Cari, Aaron and Jenna; her siblings, Becky Ickes (Jim) of Marion, IA, Tom Hayes (Carol) of Shorewood, IL and Dennis Hayes (Nancy) of Cedar Falls, IA; and her close friend Gordon Cramer of Clinton, IA. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews; and her two sister-in-laws.
