It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Nielsen of Clinton, Iowa, born in Cherokee, Iowa, who passed away on March 13, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Jens Nielsen and Marjorie Nielsen (Crippen); and his sister Donna Nielsen. He is survived by : his wife Judie McCune; his son Robert J. Nielsen, Jr. (Shannon) of Clinton; his grandchildren, Taylor Butler (Colby), Ethan and Quinn; his son Benjamin Nielsen (Karla) of Prior Lake, MN; his grandchildren, Cody and Chase; his son Nathan Nielsen (Heidi) of Milan, MN; his grandchildren, Brett and Samantha; his great grandchildren, Xavier, Abram, Lily and Fae; and his siblings, Karen Hill of Clinton, Julia Nielsen of Bettendorf, Diane Prins (Mike) of Clinton, Gary Nielsen (Cheryl) of Iowa City and Larry Nielsen (Janis) of Griffin, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
