We announce the death of Ronald J. Newman of Clinton, Iowa, who passed away on October 1, 2026. He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Newman and Leota Newman (Kazenske); his wife Mary Edfors; his grandson Mark Roling; his great grandchild Blakelyn Musch; and his brothers, Donald and Dick Newman.
He is survived by: his children, Robert George of Clinton, Tammy Roling (Kevin) of Byrant, Lisa Coyomani (Carmelo) of Clinton and Diane Dahl (Josh) of Camanche; and his brother Danny Newman of Rock Island. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
A masonic service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory (302 3rd Ave S, Clinton, IA 52732). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 11:15 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
