Sherie C. Melton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sherie C. Melton of Clinton, Iowa, who passed away on September 23, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice "Kip" Clifton and Roberta Clifton (Nicoletti); and her husband Herm. She is survived by: her children, Grant Melton (Leatha) of Clinton and Melanie Jensen (Ben) of Clinton; her grandchildren, Aleigha (Kelden), Brooklynn, Daniel, Violet and Mary; and her siblings, Michael Clifton (Diana) and Michelle Gonzales (Robert) of Colorado. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Pape Funeral Home (2308 Pershing Blvd, Clinton, IA 52732).
Memorials may be made to the Clinton Humane Society.
