She was predeceased by: her parents, August Benson and Vernetta Benson (Naeve); her husband John K. Howe; her grandson Kyle Howe; and her sisters, Arlene and Joan.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeff (Teri) and Joel (Nancy); and her grandchildren, Casey Howe (Laura), Stephanie Peterson (Cassidy), Tyler Howe (Caitlin), Jordan Howe (Whitney), Caleb Howe and Katelyn Dunnmore (Daniel). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Memorials can be made to the Elvira Zion Lutheran Church for the Backpack Program or to the Sunday School.
