Thomas L. Cotton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas L. Cotton (Clinton, Iowa), who passed away on May 11, 2026 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Helena (Struve). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Frett; his children, Christopher (Kate McCarron) of Kansas City, Missouri, Sara (Steve Fields) of Medina, Minnesota and Amanda (Eric Ruback) of Clarendon Hills; his sister Cindy Cram (Dick); and his grandchildren, Grace (Isaac), Olivia (Corie), Hadley, River, Addison, Doran, Sebastian, Selby and Brooks. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Pape Funeral Home (2308 Pershing Blvd, Clinton, IA 52732).
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Iowa Donor Network or The Sawmill Museum in Clinton, Iowa (make sure to stop inside when you visit the troll!).
