He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Thiessen and Jeanette Thiessen (Richmond); his brother Ed Thiessen (Carol); and his granddaughter Jordan Bousman. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Jr. (Laurie), Becky of Clinton and Laura Thiessen (Mike Rains) of Many, LA.; his wife Molly S Thiessen (Niles); and his siblings, Janice Sampson (George) of Minneapolis, MN., Sharon Searcy of Dewitt, IA., Leon Thiessen (Karen) of Clever, MO. and Judie Petersen (Steve) of Goose Lake, IA.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pape Funeral Home (2308 Pershing Blvd, Clinton, IA 52732). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
