He is survived by: his wife Melvena Simpson of Clinton, IA; his children, Paulette Rose of Palo Alto, CA, Rod Rose (Kristina) of Davenport, William "Bill" Rose III (Becky) of Verona, WI, Christopher "CJ" Rose (Lesley) of Plainfield, IL. and DeShon Gaither of Maine; his grandchildren, Lexus, Will, Quinton, Olivia, Zoë, Isiah and Arianna; and his sister Patricia Dorman of East Moline. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
