Begie Hefner Obituary
In loving memory of Begie Hefner of Clive, Iowa, born in Des Moines, Iowa, who departed this world on April 16, 2025 at the age of 89. Begie leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Though Begie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Begie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Allen and Ida Allen (Lane); her husbands, Robert Hefner and Fredric Miller; and her stepson David Miller.
She is survived by: her son Tom Hefner (Erin) of Urbandale; and her stepsons, Frederic Miller, Jr. (Jolene) of Florida and Bill Miller of Des Moines.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Iles Westover Chapel. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church Deacon's Fund or the Salvation Army.
