She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Ginkle and Mary Ida Van Ginkle (Dagnillo); her husband Eldred Knapp; and her siblings, Jeanne and Buddy.
She is survived by: her children, Bob Knapp (Deb) of Urbandale, IA, Tom Knapp (Sue) of Des Moines, IA, Susan Clapper of Manson, IA and Kathryn O'Connor (Ron) of Waukee, IA; her grandchildren, Jennifer Bryant (Adam), Allison Dryer (Travis), Mike Knapp (Abbie), Jake Clapper (Erin), Jordan Clapper (Emma), Kristen Anderson (Jake) and Sean O'Connor (Kiki); and her sister Bobbie Rowland (Ron) of Dallas, TX. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Lohrville Visions, Lohrville Library, or the United Methodist Church in Lohrville in Bette's name.
