She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Russell and Frances Olive Johnson (Forbes); her brothers, Delmar, Dale, Dean and Dennis Johnson; her siblings-in-law, Marilyn, Maxine, Carole Johnson, Virginia Curry, Ena Marie Wells, Michael Himrod and Harry Curry; her parents-in-law, Francis Kral and Ena Potts Kral Heller; her stepfathers, Baker and Oscar Nelson Sr.; and her stepfather-in-law Cleo D. Heller.
She is survived by: her husband Leon Kral; her children, Clarice Baiotto (Ronald), Connie Craigmile (Todd) and David Kral (Tracy); her grandchildren, Monica Thuman (Jacob), Holly Oberbroeckling (Luke), Phillip Craigmile (Adam Spandorfer), Francis Kral (Sabrina Rutner) and Hazel Holden III (Kenton); her stepgrandchildren, Adam Bergeson (Jordan) and Samantha Bergeson; her great grandchildren, Spencer Thuman, Adelyn Thuman and Bivins Holden; and her siblings, Daryle Johnson (Linda) and Diane Himrod. She is also survived by 28 nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Westown Parkway (3601 Westown Pkwy, West Des Moines, IA 50266). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
