He was predeceased by: his parents, Dave Schaller and Arleta Schaller (Jellings); his son Nathan; and his siblings, Dennis and Wendy.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Schaller; his sons, David Schaller (Jen) and Andrew Schaller; his grandchildren, Jonah and Eden; and his siblings, Metta Beninga (Vernon) and Steve Schaller (Pam). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Clive Fire Department (8800 Hickman Rd, Clive, IA 50325). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Hope Missions.
