She is survived by: her husband John Shaffer; her children, Sondi Dubbs (Gregg), Barb Mouron and Larry (Tara); her grandchildren, Sydney (Sean), Shelby, Zoe (Alex), Ian, Spencer (Isabelle), Taylor (Sean), Tommy (Grace) of Trevor, TJ and Tristan; and her great grandchildren, Bradyn, Addilyn, Gabriel, Quinn, Oliver and Bonnie.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the McLaren's Resthaven Chapel (801 19th St, West Des Moines, IA 50265). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the McLarens Resthaven Chapel (801 19th St, West Des Moines, IA 50265).
