With sadness, we share the passing of Kathleen Kay Stammer (Clive, Iowa). Kathleen, born on November 19, 1945, passed away on October 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard and Mary C. Jahnel (Weber). She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Monroe (Dave) of Berryton, KS; her grandchildren, Amanda Monroe of Kansas City, MO and Jeremiah Monroe (Avery) of Berryton, KS; her great grandchild Katherine Monroe; her siblings, Dode Westendorf, Connie Bennett (Larry), Faye Bodenhamer (Fred), Jan Wepler (Rick), Colleen Jahnel and Karri Pilgrim (Jerry); and her nephews, Jahnel and Weber. She is also survived by cousins and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ernst Funeral Home (80 NE Dartmoor Dr, Waukee, IA 50263). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Living Faith Lutheran Church (2180 NW 142nd St, Clive, IA 50325). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at the Highland Memory Gardens (1 NE 60th Ave, Des Moines, IA 50313).
