She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Vernon Fagen and Ruth Lucy Dorman Fagen; her husband Fay Marvin Clark; her sister LaDora Hegstrom; her brothers-in-law, Charles Thaler and Ronald Hegstrom; and her nephew Todd Thaler.
She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Hollie Denise and Shelly Jeanne; her daughters, Hollie Hart (Daniel) and Shelly Siemer (Darryl) of Des Moines; her granddaughter Elizabeth Kalish (John) of Clive; her great grandchild Annabelle Kalish; her sister Norma Sue Thaler of Longmont, Colorado; her nephews, Brent Hegstrom (Bev) of Perry, Myles Hegstrom (Joyce) of Perry and Mark Thaler of Albion, Indiana; and her son Kevin Maxwell of Sandy Valley, Nevada. She is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Forest Park Museum and Arboretum, Des Moines Concert Handbells, or Hospice of the Midwest.
